Chris has been studying and painting abstract art for 12 years. The mood and emotions expressed through her work are inspired by landscape themes. Bands of colour and clusters of marks, are emphasised with a variety of techniques being applied to portray her subject .Chris has extensively studied the works of Klee, Rothko, Resnick and Hoffmann.
In the U.K, Chris worked as an assistant art co-ordinator for the Open University, and held other positions in media, advertising and promotion. Chris's art has evolved over the years, her later works have been described as "'primal art radiating authenticity".
